Awards & Associations

ALBERT LANDEROS, a local artist and native Californian, was a board member of the San Bernardino County Museum Fine Arts Institute (FAI), the Redlands Art Association, and in 1977 was elected to full membership in the Watercolor West Society.

He has exhibited in numerous group, invitational, and solo shows and has won several awards including Best of Show and honorable mention in the FAI's first juried show. He won third place in the FAI #12 show, first and second place and two special awards at the California State University MECHA 1980 Exhibition.

Landeros studied under Milford Zornes, Robert E. Wood, and other well known artists instructing at the Crafton Hills College Seminars and Jade Fon Watercolor Workshops in Asilomar.

Albert is listed in American Artists of Renown 1981-1982.
